  • The app generates a virtual debit card and uses one-time codes plus biometric authentication to secure each NFC transaction.
  • Launch promotions include up to 7% discounts at major retailers like Obi, Deichmann and XXXLutz, along with weekly “Dealweek” offers.
  • Users can split in-store purchases into 3, 6 or 12 monthly installments, though annual interest rates can reach nearly 13%.
  • In July 2025 PayPal will introduce new terms with a cashback rewards program, and German Google Wallet users will retain PayPal support despite its upcoming removal in the US.
