Paxton Whitehead, Veteran Actor Known for 'Back to School,' Dies at 85

Paxton Whitehead, an English stage and screen actor known for often playing eccentric characters, has died at the age of 85.
Whitehead earned a Tony Award nomination for his role in the 1980 Broadway revival of Camelot.
He starred as Sherlock Holmes in the play The Crucifer of Blood and appeared in many other Broadway shows.
Whitehead was also known for roles in films like Back to School and on TV shows such as Mad About You and Friends.
Whitehead began acting in small touring companies before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company and enjoyed performing in farcical comedies the most.
