- Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run is published November 4, with media sharing an exclusive photo and excerpt depicting the 1977 London Town sessions.
 - The oral history compiles more than 42 hours of interviews, including newly discovered conversations from McCartney’s personal archive, plus about 150 photos, diary pages and handwritten lyrics.
 - The volume is compiled by Paul McCartney, edited by historian Ted Widmer, and draws on recollections gathered by filmmaker Morgan Neville.
 - A self-titled Wings anthology follows later this month in multiple formats, which Salon reports will include the band’s first physical Dolby Atmos mixes.
 - The anthology, personally overseen by McCartney, will be issued as a 3LP limited color set, 1LP and 1CD, and features hits such as Band on the Run, Live and Let Die, Jet and Let ’Em In.
