- McCartney opened the Sept. 29 show at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, before a reported sold-out crowd of about 11,000.
- The 33-song set spanned Beatles, Wings and solo eras, with support from Wix Wickens, Abe Laboriel Jr., Rusty Anderson, Brian Ray and the Hot City Horns.
- He led with The Beatles’ “Help!,” first performed in full on his tour after debuting it at a Sept. 26 Santa Barbara warm-up, and he played his original 1961 Höfner bass.
