- New England announced the move Tuesday, adding Corbin to the practice squad and cutting veteran offensive lineman Royce Newman.
- Rhamondre Stevenson and rookie TreVeyon Henderson remain the only running backs on the active roster, with Terrell Jennings and now Corbin on the practice squad.
- Corbin, 25, went undrafted in 2022 out of Texas A&M and Florida State and has spent time with the Giants, Panthers and Falcons.
- He led the UFL in rushing this past season with 514 yards and four touchdowns for the San Antonio Brahmas, earning All-UFL honors.
- Corbin’s immediate role is to provide depth, and as a practice-squad player he can be elevated up to three times under NFL rules with game-day availability yet to be determined.
