Boutte Accused of Placing Over 8,900 Illegal Bets While at LSU

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte has been arrested on charges related to illegal online gaming while he was a student at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Boutte is accused of creating an online betting account under a fake name and placing more than 8,900 illegal bets, including 17 on NCAA football games, six of which were on LSU games.
Boutte, who was 20 at the time, allegedly used an alias to circumvent the legal age requirement for placing sports wagers in Louisiana.
The NFL and the Patriots are aware of the charges and Boutte is cooperating with the investigation.
