Jack Jones, a cornerback for the New England Patriots, was arrested at Logan Airport in Boston for allegedly attempting to bring two loaded guns through airport security.
Jones pleaded not guilty to multiple gun charges in court and was released on $30,000 bail.
If convicted of all charges, Jones could face over 30 years in prison.
The Patriots organization is reportedly "livid" over Jones' arrest but has not yet announced how they will respond.
