Stewart's comments came during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he stated that discussions about his return for Deadpool 3 have 'come up'.
Despite his character's multiple on-screen deaths, Stewart expressed confidence that Professor X is 'still around'.
Stewart recently reprised his role as Professor X in a cameo appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but found the isolated filming experience 'frustrating and disappointing'.
