The donation supports a $242 million renovation, including the south end zone of Jones AT&T Stadium and the Dustin R. Womble Football Center.
Texas Tech will name the walkthrough area, quarterback meeting room, and offensive coordinator's office after Mahomes.
Mahomes' gladiator logo now features on the stadium turf as part of a new partnership with Adidas.
The project is expected to be completed in time for the 2024 football season.
