Patrick Mahomes Among Nominees for NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award

The award recognizes players for their community service and on-field excellence, with the winner to be announced on February 8, 2024.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is among the 32 nominees for the 2023 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
The award, named after the late Hall of Fame Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton, recognizes a player for community service and excellence on the field.
Mahomes was nominated for his work with his foundation, 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, which has distributed more than $4 million in grants and programs to improve the lives of children and support health, wellness, and communities in need.
All nominees will receive a donation of up to $55,000 in their name to their charity of choice, and the winner will receive a $250,000 donation to their chosen charity.
The winner of the award will be announced during the NFL Honors presentation on February 8, 2024.
