Overview
- The tribunal correctionnel de Nanterre handed Balkany two separate prison sentences: one of fifteen months ferme and one of three years ferme, both ordered without mandat de dépôt so he was not taken into custody immediately.

- Prosecutors had sought heavier penalties, asking for 18 months, a €350,000 fine and ten years of ineligibility in the first dossier and one year, a €150,000 fine and voting restrictions in the second.
