  • He gained prominence on Broadway with Rodgers & Hammerstein's 'The King and I' in 1952, later reprising his role as Prince Chulalongkorn in the 1956 film adaptation.
  • Adiarte also starred in the 1961 film 'Flower Drum Song' and appeared as Ho-Jon in seven episodes of the first season of 'M*A*S*H' (1972–73).
  • In his later years, he dedicated himself to teaching dance, influencing new generations of performers, including at Santa Monica College.
