  • The victim lost consciousness, received on-site treatment from an emergency doctor and paramedics, and underwent emergency surgery for a life-threatening neck wound.
  • Kriminalpolizei Regensburg has opened an attempted homicide probe, secured substantial traces at the scene and is collaborating with Staatsanwaltschaft Regensburg.
  • The suspect is held in a secured facility pending further proceedings and no motive has been disclosed.
