Path of Exile 2 early access begins globally on December 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. PST, with availability on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Preloading is available starting December 5, with specific times varying by platform and region; PC users will need to download a separate client from the official website.
The early access version includes six character classes, each with two Ascendancy paths, offering greater clarity and depth compared to Diablo 4’s class systems.
The sequel introduces increased difficulty, featuring more challenging combat, tougher enemies, and tighter boss fight arenas to test players' skills.
While the full game will be free-to-play at launch, early access requires purchasing a Supporter Pack, starting at $30.
