Pat Green’s Livestream Benefit Concert Tops $1 Million for Texas Flood Victims

A lineup of top country acts took the stage Wednesday to convert live music into ongoing support for Texas Hill Country flood relief.

Overview

  • The July 16 concert at Globe Life Field in Arlington was streamed without a live audience on YouTube and Pat Green’s Givebutter page.
  • More than $1 million was raised in just over two hours to aid communities devastated by the July 4 floods.
  • Proceeds are being distributed through Kerr County Relief, TEXSAR and the Do It For Durrett Foundation via The Pat Green Foundation.
  • Online donations remain open on YouTube, Givebutter and partner foundation websites to sustain the relief effort.
  • Green organized the event after losing his brother, sister-in-law and two nephews in the flash floods that claimed over 130 lives.
