Pastor Arrested for Assaulting McDonald's Employee

Dwayne Waden, a North Carolina pastor, faces charges after allegedly trying to push a worker's head into a deep fryer in response to perceived disrespect towards his wife.

Dwayne Waden, a pastor at Elevated Life International Ministries, was arrested for assaulting a McDonald's employee who he believed was disrespecting his wife.
Waden's wife, Latoya Gladney, was training to be a manager at the McDonald's and had called her husband for help when she felt her employees were disrespecting her.
Waden allegedly walked behind the counter, placed his hands around the victim's neck, and attempted to push his head into a deep fryer.
The victim, who suffered a large contusion to his forehead and right eye, as well as scratches on his neck, was taken to the hospital by his family.
Waden was charged with assault and battery after police reviewed surveillance footage of the incident. He posted a $1,000 bond and is due back in court in January.
