Paso Robles High Principal Arrested on Suspicion of DUI After Driving to Campus

District officials say the campus remained safe with classes continuing.

School staff alerted a resource officer around 9:04 a.m. about suspected impairment, prompting contact with Principal Megan Fletcher on campus.
Police determined she had driven to the school under the influence of alcohol and made the arrest on campus.
Fletcher was taken to the Paso Robles Police Department for processing and was released later the same day.
The district placed her on paid administrative leave and named Assistant Principal Mike Susank as acting interim principal.
Authorities reported no injuries or traffic collisions, and the district addressed a separate June 2025 incident reported to CHP by rejecting hit-and-run rumors.
