Partial Collapse of Press Box at West Virginia High School Softball Tournament Injures Nine

Nine people were sent to hospitals after a press box floor collapsed at a school softball tournament in Wayne, West Virginia.
Six students and three adults were taken for medical attention for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Five people were inside the press box and several others were underneath it when the floor gave way.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation and inspectors will examine the site.
Wayne is located in West Virginia, southeast of Cincinnati.
