Overview
- At 7:43 pm on August 17, part of a staircase at Building No. 14/16 in Chira Bazar gave way, leaving residents stranded on the second floor.
- Teams from the Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, 108 ambulance service and ward staff conducted rescue and evacuation operations.
- Three individuals, including 70-year-old Damayanti Rathod, were transported to GT Hospital and are in stable condition.
