Overview
- Beginning Sunday, August 31, 2025, admission will be free for everyone at Parque del Jaguar every Sunday with no restrictions on age or status.
- Residents and accredited foreign residents of Tulum have had free entry since January 2025 under an existing initiative.
- Grupo Mundo Maya, administered by the Defense Ministry and tied to the Tren Maya project, manages the conservation and tourism site.
- The park spans roughly 2,913 hectares and offers low-impact activities such as archaeological visits, hiking, cycling, and birdwatching.
- Access is available from the Tulum Tren Maya station, and the grounds include INAH’s Museo de la Costa Oriental exhibiting about 300 pieces.
