Seagoville police say Boothe faces multiple felony charges after leading officers on a dangerous pursuit that ended in a violent struggle inside a patrol vehicle.

  • The suspect put the patrol vehicle in gear twice, dragging an officer for more than two minutes until a second officer subdued him with a Taser.
  • Authorities recovered two handguns and ammunition from the stolen truck and said Boothe had an active parole-violation warrant and documented gang ties.
  • Boothe remains jailed without bond on charges including robbery, aggravated assault on a public servant and unlawful firearm possession while the injured officer was treated at the scene.
