Paris Prepares for 48th Marathon with Over 55,000 Runners Set to Compete

The iconic race on April 13 will feature a refreshed route, elite competitors, and a record-breaking number of first-time participants.

The 48th Marathon de Paris, taking place on April 13, 2025, will see nearly 56,000 runners from 124 countries, with 51% participating in their first marathon.
This year’s course includes a new segment through Place de la Nation, while maintaining its iconic start on the Champs-Élysées and finish at Avenue Foch.
Elite athletes, including record-holders Elisha Rotich and Judith Jeptum Korir, are among the favorites, alongside top French runner Hassan Chahdi.
The event will be broadcast live starting at 7:50 AM on France 3 and France TV platforms, ensuring global accessibility for spectators.
