Parents Turn in Teens After Flash Mob Robberies at LA 7-Elevens

Surveillance footage led parents to identify their children involved in a series of 7-Eleven store robberies across Los Angeles.

At least three parents have reported their children to the LAPD after recognizing them in surveillance images from the robberies.
The flash mob robberies involved groups of 20 to 40 teenagers on bicycles targeting 14 7-Eleven stores since July.
Most of the robberies took place on Friday evenings and resulted in stolen merchandise and damaged property.
No physical injuries were reported, but witnesses expressed fear due to the aggressive nature of the incidents.
LAPD released nearly 200 images of suspects to the public, prompting tips and further investigations into the crimes.
