Parents of Teen Who Threatened St. Louis School Charged with Evidence Tampering

The 16-year-old, who posted a video threat online, was arrested with a loaded gun near Husky Academy.

Traci and Terry Thompson, parents of the teen, were charged with tampering with physical evidence after attempting to hide ammunition.
The teen posted a video on Instagram showing him pointing a gun at Husky Academy and a school resource officer's vehicle.
Police arrested the 16-year-old in the school's parking lot after receiving a tip through the Courage2Report line.
The suspect is currently in juvenile detention and faces charges of first-degree terrorist threat, unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting arrest.
Authorities are investigating how the teen obtained the Glock handgun and are considering charging additional individuals connected to the incident.
