Paramount+ Sets March 20 Premiere for True-Crime Series 'Happy Face'

Dennis Quaid stars as the notorious 'Happy Face Killer' in a drama exploring his daughter's quest for justice and personal reckoning.

Happy Face is based on the true story of Melissa Moore, who discovered at age 15 that her father, Keith Jesperson, was a serial killer known as the 'Happy Face Killer.'
The eight-episode series will premiere on Paramount+ on March 20, 2025, with two episodes, followed by weekly releases through May 1.
Dennis Quaid plays Jesperson, while Annaleigh Ashford stars as Melissa, who must confront her father's crimes to prevent an innocent man from being executed.
The series is inspired by Moore's autobiography 'Shattered Silence' and the popular 'Happy Face' podcast, which recount her experiences and the impact of her father's actions.
Happy Face is produced by CBS Studios and features an ensemble cast, including James Wolk, Tamera Tomakili, and Benjamin Mackey, with Jennifer Cacicio as showrunner.
