• Paramount announced a renewed exclusive, multi-year production pact with veteran horror producer Walter Hamada and his 18Hz banner.
• The deal keeps Hamada focused on delivering multiple low- to mid-budget genre films for theatrical release and streaming.
• Johannes Roberts’ Primate unveiled its first trailer and is scheduled to open in theaters on Jan. 9, 2026.
• The 18Hz slate also features an untitled André Øvredal horror film starring Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo from a script by Zachary Donohue and T. W. Burgess.
