Overview
- Paramount published the full trailer on Thursday, Oct. 1, giving the public a longer look at Ti West’s darker take on Dickens’ novella.
- The studio has scheduled Ebenezer for wide release on November 13, 2026, positioning it ahead of the holiday movie rush.
- Director Ti West and writer Nathaniel Halpern frame the film as a ghost story with spooky supernatural imagery rather than a conventional holiday comfort piece.
- The ensemble cast listed by the studio includes Ian McKellen as Jacob Marley, Tramell Tillman as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Rupert Grint as Bob Cratchit and supporting turns from Andrea Riseborough, Daisy Ridley and Sam Claflin.
- Paramount’s promotion — which has included in-character Comic-Con appearances and two trailer drops — emphasizes Depp’s heavy makeup, comic menace and the film’s role as his first major Hollywood studio lead since 2018, making box-office response a key early test of his mainstream draw.
