Paramount+ Developing 'Galaxy Quest' TV Series; Cast Uncertain

Paramount+ and Paramount Television Studios are developing a "Galaxy Quest" TV series adaptation of the cult sci-fi comedy film.
The show is in early development with Mark Johnson, producer of the original 1999 film, executive producing.
It's unclear if the series will be a reboot or continue the film's story and if any original cast members will return.
Amazon previously attempted to develop a series in 2015 but plans were scrapped after actor Alan Rickman's death.
The film "Galaxy Quest" starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman and parodied franchises like "Star Trek", gaining a devoted following over the years.
