Paramount+ has cancelled 'Wolf Pack', a series spun out of the 'Teen Wolf' franchise, after just one season.
The decision was reportedly influenced by production delays caused by last year's actors and writers strikes, which would have pushed the premiere of Season 2 to 2025.
The extended hiatus would have required Paramount+ to spend more on marketing for Season 2.
The cancellation comes as Paramount+ continues to cut costs, including mass layoffs.
The series, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, was based on a novel by Edo Van Belkom and followed the lives of four teenagers connected by the bite and blood of a werewolf.
