Paraíba Opens CFO 2026 Registrations; Rio Fire Corps Releases 50-Vacancy Exam Notice

  • The Paraíba Military Police opened applications from Dec. 5–23 for 30 officer seats, six reserved for Black candidates, with a R$120 fee and Enem 2025 as the academic filter.
  • The Paraíba Fire Department posted its call for 15 seats with registrations Dec. 8–26 on the corps’ site, fee R$120, requiring Enem 2025 scores; approved candidates advance from cadet (~R$3,003) to aspirant (~R$6.7k) and then 2nd lieutenant (~R$8.7k).
  • Rio’s fire service (CBMERJ) announced 50 combat officer vacancies with registration Jan. 6–18 via UERJ, fee R$100, and an objective test plus essay on Feb. 8, 2026.
  • CBMERJ allocates 35 seats to open competition, five to low‑income applicants and 10 to Black and Indigenous candidates, with fee waivers for CadÚnico registrants, marrow donors or recent electoral service.
  • Selection flows combine academic screening and exams with psychological, health and physical tests; CBMERJ also requires a specific-skills trial including rope climb, wall and rail transposition and a confined‑space passage.
