Paque Puts TFT Mercedes on 24H Dubai Pole After Shoot-Out Shake-Up

Benjamin Paque secured pole in the inaugural Top 10 Shoot-Out with a 1:55.597 for TFT Racing’s No. 28 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo (Pro-Am).
Pierre Kaffer put the Sainteloc Audi on the front row with a 1:55.849, and Benjamin Goethe took third for Optimum’s McLaren after a late promotion into the shootout.
The No. 777 AlManar/Dragon Ferrari was excluded from qualifying for overboost and drops to 33rd, while Alexey Nesov, Oliver Goethe and Loek Hartog lost shootout laps for track limits.
Winward Racing topped the combined qualifying averages but its Mercedes entries will start fifth and sixth, with Team WRT’s BMWs slated fourth and seventh.
Pierre Kaffer led night practice at 1:58.019, Paradine Competition’s BMWs went 1-2 in Saturday warm-up, and class poles went to Red Camel-Jordans.nl (992), Leipert (GTX) and Cerny Motorsport (GT4).
