Overview

  • Banking in a 26-foot 3-pointer at the horn, Paolo Banchero won it after Egor Demin had put Brooklyn ahead 103-101 with 3.6 seconds left in overtime.
  • Brooklyn erased an 18-point deficit and outscored Orlando 29-14 in the fourth, with Demin tying the game at 93-93 on a three with 4.9 seconds remaining in regulation.
  • Banchero finished with 30 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, while Wendell Carter Jr. added 20 points as Orlando closed out on the second night of a back-to-back.
  • Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 34 points and eight 3-pointers, and rookie Demin scored 18 points, all from deep, including all 10 of Brooklyn’s OT points.
  • The Magic extended their head-to-head streak to eight wins as Brooklyn fell to 11-23, undone in part by 21 turnovers despite a late surge.
