- India A chased 275 to clinch the first unofficial Test in Bengaluru by three wickets, taking a 1–0 lead in the two-match series.
- Resuming on 64 not out, Rishabh Pant struck 14 off the first over on Day 4 and top-scored with 90 off 113 before falling to Tiaan van Vuuren.
- Ayush Badoni added 63 with Pant for the fifth wicket and made 34, but India A slipped to 216 for 7 at lunch with 59 still needed.
- Anshul Kamboj (37 not out) and Manav Suthar (20 not out) saw India A home after Tanush Kotian’s 23, completing the chase in 73.1 overs.
- Earlier, Tanush Kotian (4/26) and Kamboj (3/39) helped dismiss South Africa A for 199 to set the target, and Pant has stated in a BCCI video that he is fully recovered ahead of Tests starting Nov. 14.
