Overview
- A detective team raided a rented Sector 21 bungalow late on January 12 after a tip-off and caught suspects taking bets on the UP vs Bengaluru WPL match.

- Police registered a case under Section 4(1) of the Gambling Act; three were first placed on one-day remand on January 13 before all seven were moved to judicial custody on January 14.
