PAMI Sets Nov. 30 Deadline To Renew Diaper Orders For Home Delivery

Beneficiaries keep receiving free door-to-door supplies by updating the electronic medical order with their doctor.

Overview

  • The nationwide door-to-door system has been in place since June 1 with Urbano Express managing procurement, storage and distribution under PAMI coordination.
  • Electronic medical orders expire every six months, and recipients are being reminded to renew by November 30, with physicians able to issue up to six prescriptions at once.
  • Monthly provision is 30, 60 or 90 units based on clinical need, and requests above 90 units require evaluation by PAMI’s central office.
  • Deliveries are free for affiliates and carried out by credentialed, uniformed couriers, with a second attempt within 72 hours if the first visit fails.
  • Affiliates can verify or update delivery details during renewal with their doctor or by calling 138, and new applicants must obtain an OME and present DNI plus their PAMI credential.
