- PAMI reaffirmed that its social-subsidy for outpatient medicines remains in force and released the February list of drugs with full coverage.
- Qualified affiliates can obtain up to four prescriptions at 100% coverage for social reasons, separate from programs that already cover certain conditions in full.
- Treatments for high-need conditions receive automatic 100% coverage without the social-subsidy process, including diabetes, oncological and oncohematological therapies, HIV, transplants, hemophilia, hepatitis B and C, chronic kidney disease with hyperparathyroidism, rheumatoid arthritis, and specified ophthalmologic and hematologic disorders.
- To qualify for the social subsidy, applicants must have net income below 1.5 minimum pensions (or below 3 if a household member has a CUD), have no private prepaid plan, own no more than one property, hold no luxury aircraft or boats, and not be the titleholder of a vehicle under 10 years old except for a CUD household exception.
- Applications are completed online at pami.org.ar via Trámites Web with electronic prescriptions and case tracking, medicines are collected with DNI and PAMI credential or by an authorized representative, partial discounts typically run 40%–80%, and an exception grants 100% coverage when medicine costs exceed 15% of income.
