Pamela Anderson's Iconic Baywatch Swimsuit to Be Displayed in London Exhibit

The Design Museum's 'Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style' will showcase the swimsuit alongside other historic swimwear pieces starting March 2025.

Pamela Anderson's red Baywatch swimsuit, worn during her role as CJ Parker from 1992 to 1997, will be featured in the Design Museum's upcoming exhibition in London.
The swimsuit, on loan from Germany's BikiniARTmuseum, was previously owned by her co-star David Hasselhoff and acquired in 2023.
The exhibition, titled 'Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style,' will explore 100 years of swimwear history and its cultural, social, and technological significance.
Other highlights of the exhibit include a 1924 Olympic gold medal, one of the earliest bikinis from 1946, and NASA-engineered Speedo LZR Racer swimsuits.
The show will run from March 28 to August 17, 2025, and is curated by fashion historian Amber Butchart, who emphasizes the evolving societal impact of swimwear design.
