Pamela Anderson's Iconic Baywatch Swimsuit to Be Displayed in London Exhibit
The Design Museum's 'Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style' will showcase the swimsuit alongside other historic swimwear pieces starting March 2025.
- Pamela Anderson's red Baywatch swimsuit, worn during her role as CJ Parker from 1992 to 1997, will be featured in the Design Museum's upcoming exhibition in London.
- The swimsuit, on loan from Germany's BikiniARTmuseum, was previously owned by her co-star David Hasselhoff and acquired in 2023.
- The exhibition, titled 'Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style,' will explore 100 years of swimwear history and its cultural, social, and technological significance.
- Other highlights of the exhibit include a 1924 Olympic gold medal, one of the earliest bikinis from 1946, and NASA-engineered Speedo LZR Racer swimsuits.
- The show will run from March 28 to August 17, 2025, and is curated by fashion historian Amber Butchart, who emphasizes the evolving societal impact of swimwear design.
