Palworld's Feybreak Update Expands Gameplay and Teases Terraria Collaboration

The latest update introduces a massive new island, new mechanics, and the first glimpse of a Terraria crossover, while continuing efforts to differentiate from Pokémon.

The Feybreak update adds a new island, six times larger than the previous expansion, featuring new Pals, resources, and challenges such as the Feybreak Warriors faction and missile battery camps.
New gameplay mechanics include Hardcore Mode with permadeath, Random Pal Mode for randomized spawns, and Expedition and Research systems for resource gathering and base upgrades.
A Terraria collaboration begins with the addition of Meowmeow, a bullet-firing melee weapon, with more crossover content planned for 2025.
Pal Spheres, Palworld's capture mechanic, now feature modules that alter their trajectory and increase capture success rates, further distinguishing the game from Pokémon amid ongoing legal disputes with Nintendo.
The update also introduces Predator Pals, new raids, weapons, buildings, and a level cap increase to 60, offering players expanded content and fresh challenges.
