• Alex Palou secured pole for the Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250 with a 162.971 mph two-lap average, edging David Malukas after running last in qualifying.
• Pato O’Ward qualified third and Scott McLaughlin fourth, while Team Penske teammates Will Power and Josef Newgarden will start from the top half after solid runs.
• Scott Dixon, Kyffin Simpson and Louis Foster received nine-place grid drops for unapproved engine changes, with Dixon falling from fifth in qualifying to 14th on the grid.
• Colton Herta spun on his first lap but avoided wall contact and completed his run, whereas Felix Rosenqvist backed into the Turn 4 wall and will start deep in the field.
