Palantir Deepens Google Cloud Ties With BigQuery and Gemini Integrations

It enables use of Google-stored data with Gemini models inside Palantir workflows, easing procurement through the Google Cloud Marketplace.

Overview

  • Palantir announced the multi-tier partnership with Google Cloud at its AIPCon on Thursday, describing two-way data federation between BigQuery and Foundry, two-way semantic exchange between Google’s Knowledge Catalog and Foundry’s Ontology, and deeper connectivity between Gemini and Palantir AIP.
  • The company will make Foundry and AIP available on the Google Cloud Marketplace to simplify buying and deployment for large enterprises and regulated customers.
  • Palantir used the event to disclose several commercial wins the same day, including multi-year deals with McCarthy Building Companies and GNP Seguros, expanded work with Kirkland & Ellis, and production use cases with Eaton.
  • Markets gave the news a muted response, with PLTR trading up roughly 1–1.5% in early activity, a modest move against Palantir’s strong recent revenue growth, high valuation metrics, and noted insider stock sales.
  • Industry observers say the technical links could reduce data movement and let firms embed advanced models directly into operations, which may accelerate commercial adoption beyond Palantir’s government and defense clients.
