• Speaking in Tiruparankundram, Edappadi K. Palaniswami alleged the DMK is shielding Madurai Mayor Indrani Pon Vasanth in an alleged ₹200‑crore property‑tax scam, citing arrests of corporation officials and claiming the Mayor’s husband Pon Vasanth was among those held.
