Pakistan’s SECP and NTC Sign Cybersecurity MoU to Coordinate Threat Response

  • The collaboration includes training for threat detection and response, research on cybersecurity technologies, and enhancements to audits and compliance with standards such as ISO 27001.
  • Both organisations will cooperate on establishing sectoral Computer Emergency Response Teams under national rules to improve incident coordination and emergency response.
  • Officials said the partnership aims to better protect critical data and infrastructure, with public awareness efforts and coordination among regulatory bodies identified as key priorities.
