Pakistani Taliban escalate attacks, killing police and bombing government buildings

Two suicide bombers attacked a police station and government offices in northwest Pakistan, killing 2 officers.
In a separate attack in Peshawar, 2 police officers were shot and killed at a checkpoint.
The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for both attacks.
At least 10 officers were injured when a bomb exploded at a police station in Bara.
The attacks come as the Pakistani Taliban have become emboldened by the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan.
