Pakistani Man Severely Injured by Lion While Filming TikTok Video

Muhammad Azeem, a man in his late 20s, was attacked by a lion in Lahore, Pakistan, after entering its cage without permission to film a TikTok video.
The lion inflicted severe injuries to Azeem's face, shoulder, and arm before the farm owner rescued him and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
The Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department has initiated legal proceedings against the farm owner and ordered the cancellation of the facility's license.
The incident comes shortly after amendments to Pakistan's Wildlife Act of 1974, which ban keeping big cats in urban areas and prohibit filming videos with them.
The case has reignited concerns over unregulated private breeding facilities and the growing trend of keeping exotic animals as status symbols in Pakistan.
