- Industry calculations submitted to OGRA propose lowering petrol by Rs6.10 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs0.97 per litre starting Oct. 16.
- If implemented, the new pump rates would be Rs262.58 for petrol and Rs275.84 for high-speed diesel.
- The proposal also seeks reductions of Rs2.75 per litre for kerosene and Rs1.64 per litre for light diesel oil.
- OGRA is expected to forward its summary to the Petroleum Division today before recommendations go to the Ministry of Finance for sign-off.
- Current rates valid through Oct. 15 are petrol Rs268.68, HSD Rs276.81, LDO Rs159.76, and kerosene Rs176.81, with the reported cuts still unconfirmed.
