Overview

• Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock to discuss the Palestine issue and UN reforms.
• Dar urged changes to the UN Security Council to improve its effectiveness and fairness.
• He reiterated that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved in line with UN Security Council resolutions.
• Dar and Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan agreed to review bilateral economic ties, with a follow-up meeting slated in Kuala Lumpur next month.
• In talks with Morocco’s Nasser Bourita, both sides agreed to deepen cooperation on trade, investment, connectivity, and regional peace, including coordination in multilateral forums.
