Pakistan Says Five Militants Killed in Khuzdar Raid as Kech IED Kills Five Soldiers

ISPR attributes the violence to Indian proxy networks and reports continuing sanitization operations in affected areas.

  • Security forces conducted an intelligence-based raid in Khuzdar on the night of September 14–15, killing five militants and recovering weapons, ammunition and explosives, according to ISPR.
  • An IED struck a military vehicle in Kech’s Sherbandi area, killing five soldiers including Captain Waqar Ahmed, ISPR reported.
  • During the subsequent clearance operation in Kech, ISPR said five militants linked to the group it calls Fitna al-Hindustan were killed.
  • Earlier on September 13–14, ISPR reported separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat and Bannu that left 31 militants dead.
  • ISPR says search and sanitization operations are ongoing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, reiterating its claim that the militants are Indian-sponsored.
