Overview
- PCB confirmed a 15-player squad with Muneeba Ali Siddiqui as vice-captain and named five non-traveling reserves.
- Six players will make maiden World Cup appearances, including Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar and Syeda Aroob Shah.
- Eyman Fatima and Sadaf Shamas were drafted into the main squad, with Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi moving to the reserves alongside Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.
- Pakistan will play all group matches at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium, opening on October 2 against Bangladesh with India on October 5.
- A three-match ODI series against South Africa in Lahore from September 16–22 follows the camp as the final phase of preparation.
