Pakistan Invites Sikh Pilgrims to June Ceremonies in Lahore After Military Truce

  • The Jor Mela for Guru Arjan Dev Ji will feature the Bhog Akhand Path Sahib ritual at Gurdwara Dera Sahib on June 16
  • Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s death anniversary will be commemorated at his samadhi on June 29 under ETPB management
  • Last year attendance topped 800 for the Guru Arjan Dev Ji observance and 450 for the Maharaja Ranjit Singh ceremony
  • The invitation follows a cessation of India-Pakistan military actions on May 10 after escalatory strikes in early May
