Overview
- The Foreign Office said Shehbaz Sharif will head Pakistan’s delegation to the 80th UN General Assembly in New York beginning September 22.
- He will participate in a meeting of “select” Muslim leaders with President Donald Trump to discuss regional and international peace and security.
- His address is expected to urge action on prolonged occupation and denial of self-determination in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and in Palestine, with particular emphasis on Gaza.
